Our Story
In 1992, Rose La Para, a young and determined single-mother entrepreneur, decided to turn a passion into a business. After immigrating to Montreal from Italy at a young age, La Para was exposed early on to different ways of life. This experience broadened horizons that would influence her wanderlust moving forward. She understood the world was different in different places — and the more she saw, the more she wanted to see.
As La Para added stamps to her passport, she gained first hand insight that helped the company grow as it enabled her to communicate to her clients and connect them with bespoke vacation experiences. With this experience, along with her incredible work ethic, impeccable customer service embedded with humility and grace, and unique ability to make clients feel like family, the company gradually evolved over the years from a corporate ticketing agency to full-service leisure travel planners.
Years later, La Para’s son Anthony, who possesses the same desire to explore, willingness to understand, commitment to his clients, and ability to listen and ask questions, joined her along for the ride and helped the company grow into what it is today.
Now, following a worldwide pandemic, we look back in pride as we look forward to a stronger future.
To travel enthusiasts and adventure seekers, World Experiences XL serves as THE travel authority and influence enabling our guests to travel better and worry-free, connecting them with seasoned advisors who use decades of vast, specialized and personal travel experience, as well as world-class technology, systems and processes to support travelers before, during, and after their trip.
